Contemporary full crimson red morocco gilt, a very sound copy, retaining part of one brass clasp and original marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, A huge amount of information including details of House of Commons, dock yards, sovereigns of Europe, army list, church, literary institutions, the Colonies, etc, etc. An interesting and useful picture of the country just before the War of 1812 fought between Britain and the recently independent America in oarts of that country and Canada.    dec8/1
