Sir Pratap Singh being introduced to Gen Joffre by Sir Douglas Haigh, WW1

An unused postcard in the Daily Mail Official War Photographs Series 1 No 6. Light vertical crease and bottom right hand corner has been turned over. The much decorated General Sir Pertab King was colonel of the Imperial Cadet Corps, more often now known as Sir Pratap Singh, Maharaja of Idar and sometime Regent of Jodhpur. He was a great favourite of the British Royal family.         may9/2   SOLD 18th February 2026
