Sword knot of the pattern worn by Aides de Camp to the King

£45.00

A very good example of the gold lace sword knot of the pattern that was worn by regular and honorary aides de camp to the King Emperor on the mameluke pattern sword. This example dates from the reign of George VI and belonged to a very senior Political Officer in India when he was Resident to a leading ruling Prince and also an Honorary ADC to the King.  One of our images shows the knot with the sword although the sword was sold some years ago.  sep2/2
