The standard sized oval box , c 40 x 30 mm lid, has a mauve base with some chipping, repeated on the interior. The lid reads A Trifle from THIRSK. Although an attractive market town with a well known race course, Thirsk is a somewhat unusual soursce for such a box. A suitable present from someone who has had a good day at the Races.  oct17/3
