14th/20th King’s Hussars, officer’s gilt hunt button with back mark PITT & Co 31 MADDOX ST LONDON. The flat 15mm button shows the regiment’s Roman numerlas XIV XX beneath a King’s crown. The button dates from after 1922 when the regiment was combined with the 20th Hussars, who had been formed originally by the East India Company. apr1/3
