1st/11th Sikh Regiment (King George’s Own) (Ferozepore Sikhs) field cap

A very good clean field cap of the 1st / 11th Sikh Regiment (King George’s Own) (Ferozepore Sikhs) being of dark blue cloth with a bright yellow top, the badge of silver wire in the form of the Prince of Wales’s crest above a throwing quoit. Before 1922 the unit was known as the 14th Ferozepore Sikhs. The regiment was formed from Jat Sikhs. The cap is in particularly good, clean condition, including the grey lining, although the manufacturer’s label is now indistinct.  mar29/1   RESERVED 31st March 2024
