46th Punjabis. Officer’s shoulder belt with plate and whistle in silver plate, circa 1903-22

The broad, light brown shoulder belt is 78mm wide and carries a silver plated plate of 60 x 80 mm with a Tudor crown and the title 46 PUNJABIS with a lion boss and whistle connectred by two chains. This would have been worn by officers between 1903 and 1922. Although the pouch is not present the belt and fittings are in excellent condition. may7/1 SOLD 15th May 2024
