A fine example of an officer’s coatee button of 21mm of the 66th Berkshire Regiment of Foot retaining full gilt The backmark is P. &S. FIRMIN 153 STRAND LONDON which is recorded as being in use in the 1830s. The post 1855 button changed to a simple design of 66 beneath a crown, all withing a plain circle. jun10/3
