xii, 343pp. Original flexible red cloth gilt covers, faded, cloth wrinkled, internally very sound and clean with just an 1862 ownership address on the front free endpaper. Clearly not exhaustive accounts of the many wars being fought in these years but the accounts of East Indian wars such as that against Hyder Ali are interestingly related to what was happening elsewhere around the Empire. a useful pocket sized book for a rail or air journey.   jan13/1
