Antique Bilston enamel trifle box, late George III period.
£165.00
The standard sized oval box , c 40 x 30 mm lid, has a turquoise base with very minor chipping, intact mirror, and lid which has some crazing to the background. The noble spirited motto reads Have Communion with few. Be familiar with one. Deal justly with all. Speak evil of none. There is an old inked collector’s number on the interior base. A good present for a journalist, perhaps. oct17/2
