BOMBAY N. E-43. Survey of India 2nd edn 1929 [of the 1914 Survey] on a scale of 15 mm to 1 km [approx 15 miles to the inch]. Dissected and linen backed, folding down to a size of 8 x 5 ins, [20 x 13 cm]. It extends from Bombay [now Mumbai] on the coast ass far east as Mahbubnagar and from Aurangabad in the north to Raichur in the south. The map has green endpapers with a Sifton Praed retailer’s label. aug23/4
