 Folding coloured map of India, large folding table of East India shipping for the seasons 1805-6, 1806-7, 1807-8, xli, 422pp, including Casualties Bengal 6pp, Madras 4pp, Bombay 2pp. At the time of printing Sir George Hilaro Barlow, Bart., K.B. was Governor General but Gilbert, Lord Minto had been appointed to succeed him.     dec14/1

Contemporary crimson full morocco gilt, spine titled  1801   2  [vol 1 would have been a Royal Kalendar]. Minor wear to extremities, spine somewhat faded, all edges gilt, original marbled endpapers, completely sound with tight text block, no internal markings. These very thick volumes are prone to being badly shaken and this is a particularly good example.
