The very good quality 20mm open backed giltbutton has the design of the loyal motto GOD SAVE THE KING around a georgian crown. We cannot be sure of its exact date but feel it is most likely to date from the reign of George III. The back mark is FIRMINS LONDON , one of the earliest button makers which was operating from the 1770s. jun18/1 SOLD 19th December 2025
