An unusual and amusing hand coloured carte de visite by Bourne & Shepherd, India with a bust length portrait of a young Indian wearing a jacket of uniform style and a richly lace trimmed cap, probably a member of a noble family. The colouring of the background is rather amateurish. Probably 1880s. jan15/2
