An excellent copy of a scarce book, published this year in both quarto and folio editions. aug11/1

Army of India Medal: We also show the original specimen example of this medal, which can be found elsewhere on the website, which includes clasps the three first battles of the 2nd Mahratta War which are shown in the engravings in this volume. They are of course especially rare to be found on the medal as it was not issued until 48 years after the first battle and then only to survivors.
