Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood – signed thank you letter 1922

A typed letter of thanks on a sheet of 9½ x 7½ ins writing paper embossed in red Buckingham Palace beneath a crown and signed Mary. The letter, dated March 1922 asks the recipient, J. M. Barlerin, the Comptroller of the Royal Household to thank all the staff who had contributed to an antque cabinet which had been given as a wedding present to her and Viscount Lascelles, who were married at Westminster Abbey on 28th February. Mary was a very prompt letter writer. The letter is in excellent condition with just the usual two folds for inclusion in an envelope.     jul24/3
