Royal Warwickshire Regiment. A death plaque & British War Medal to a Private

An unresearched  British War Medal named to 268270 Pte. G. Gilchrist, R. War. R. with the original box [squashed], unused ribbon, and brown envelope. His bronze, commemorative death plaque retains its original protective card cover. Also offered with these is the printed note of gratitude with facsimile signature of King George V, George R. I. on paper embossed in red with the Royal Arms and BUCKINGHAM PALACE. Most unusually this is still with the original envelope with the Royal Arms on the flap. jul23/1

Provenance: This came from Scotland where the family member of the Gilchrists also had connections with the Campbells and Johnsons .
