Taj Mahal. A black stone box inlaid with an image of the Taj Mahal of Agra

The black box measures overall 15.5 x 10.5 x 5.5 cm including the lid which evenly overhangs the base by a few mm. I am not sure of the material used but it looks like polished slate and the inlaid frontal image of the Taj Mahal has the look of mother of pearl. The box is heavy for its size, weighing a little over a kilo. Hard to date but I suspect it is mid to late 20th century and made in the Agra area. apr13/2
