An example of a16th Cavalry cap badge worn from 1903 until 1921 when it was amalgamated with the 13th Duke of Connaught’s Lancers. The badge retains two of the original fixing spikes but two are missing and there is some solder to the badge of one of the pennons. The very delicate design of the badge does invite damage. It measures 25 x 21 mm. oct31/1
