Bagot family of Levens Hall, Westmoreland. A large well illustrated album kept by Alicw Mary, duaghter of Lt. Colonel Josceline Bagot.

The large [15 x 11  x 2½ ins] photograph and annotated album is sturdily bound in grained rose coloured full leather with the initials A.M.B. in gilt to the upper board, all edges are gilt and the binding is by PARKINS & GOTTO, OXFORDSHIRE . The blank before the first page has the compiler’s name Alice Mary Bagot 1908. The first 17 thick card leaves are filled on both sides with photographs, cards, notes of the places visited and the people attending thee numerous visits, all dated and mainly lastimg around a week. As well as illustrations of the houses visited [often by postcards] theee are some interesting invitations and other ephemera, including an admission ticket to the 1910 Corontion.
